Part 127597 is the 'A' side swivel fitting for the Graco Fusion FX spray gun. Graco's service manual lists it as a swivel fitting, #5 JIC by #5 JIC, male to female, and it appears on the exploded parts diagram as the 'A' side swivel.
Its purpose is to let the hose turn relative to the gun instead of twisting up as you work, which makes the whip hose far easier to live with across a full day. A fitting that is in motion whenever the gun is in use will eventually wear, so it is a sensible spare to carry.
Note that the A and B side fittings differ, so order against the correct side. Genuine Graco OEM part 127597.
