This is the 'A' side swivel for the Graco Fusion AP and Fusion PC spray guns. Graco's exploded parts diagram identifies it by that name.
Its job is to let the hose turn relative to the gun rather than twisting up as you move around the work, which keeps the whip hose manageable through a long shift. Because a swivel is in motion whenever the gun is in use, it is one of the fittings that eventually needs replacing.
